Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
                Choosing to become Catholic

RCIA is a series of classes that offer an exploration of the Roman Catholic faith. RCIA prepares men and women to make a conscious choice whether or not they want to receive the sacraments of initiation offered by the Catholic Church (Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation).

RCIA is like a journey of faith. Instructors teach the fullness of the faith and relate the faith to Holy Scriptures.  Development is accompanied by a personal sponsor and a community of individuals.  RCIA instructions consist of prayer, educational presentations, and small group discussions.  The program guides the individual through four periods of development.  There is no obligation to become Catholic once the process has started.

We never stop growing in our knowledge of the faith.  We encourage everyone in the parish to join us at any or all of the upcoming sessions, at any time.  Topics are posted weekly in the parish bulletin.

Sessions are held one day a week, from September through Pentecost (after Easter).
